MEPs ask Government to fight for Shannon Airport

Irish MEPs are calling on the Government to fight to save Shannon Airport’s transatlantic services.

A European ruling today against eight member states could lead to bi-lateral arrangements with the US on airline routes being outlawed.

It could mean an end to the Shannon stopover.
