Two prisoners escape from garda custody

Two men in their 20s have escaped from garda custody after being brought to Limerick District court today.

The escapees, who were allegedly involved in a bank raid in Dooradoyle last year, broke free of their garda escorts at around 11.40am and stole a car in the city.
