Abortion referendum heading for defeat warns poll

A new survey is warning the Government’s planned referendum on abortion is in danger of defeat.

The MRBI poll shows only a small majority of committed voters are in favour of the proposals which aim to remove the threat of suicide as grounds for abortion.
