Sinn Fein hit back at Reid's criticism

Sinn Fein's Gerry Kelly has hit back at Dr Reid's criticism over the lack of political backing for the Police Service of Northern Ireland.

"[The police service] is an unaccountable, undemocratic, paramilitary force, which has stood by and allowed the UDA-inspired pogrom against the Catholic population to take root and intensify," he said.
