Former TD Colm Hilliard dies in Co Meath

Former Fianna Fail TD Colm Hillard has died at his home in Kilmessan, Co Meath.

The 65-year-old, who was heavily involved in GAA in Co Meath, was first elected to the Dail in 1982 and served until 1997.

He is survived by his wife and four children.
