Belfast schools to be protected by police

A major security operation is to be carried out by police at dozens of primary and secondary schools in north Belfast after loyalist paramilitaries made threats against teachers and school staff.

High profile operations are being planned in areas surrounding schools situated in the area that has seen rioting and protests over the past few months.
