The North’s Police Service is rejecting criticism that it is failing to deal with loyalist attacks in north Belfast.

The North’s Police Service is rejecting criticism that it is failing to deal with loyalist attacks in north Belfast.

The Assistant Chief Constable, Alan McQuillan, says that they are doing everything in their power to bring those behind the sectarian disturbances to justice and that criticism of policing in the North is unfair.

Two men are still being questioned in connection with the murder of a Catholic postman, Daniel McColgan, who was killed by the UDA yesterday.
