Belfast postmen stall work for murdered colleague
Postal workers in Belfast have refused to collect or deliver mail today as a show of respect to the young Catholic postman who was shot dead by the UDA yesterday.
He was murdered as he arrived for work at a postal sorting office in the loyalist Rathcoole estate in north Belfast. Colleagues and members of the Communication Workers Union say they will not make deliveries today or tomorrow in memory of the 20-year-old father of one.
