Six in court after armed swoop
Six men arrested by gardai investigating the activities of dissident Republicans were today appearing before Dublin’s Special Criminal Court.
Police said the six would be charged before the court.
A seventh man, who was also arrested in the armed police swoop on a house in Dundalk, Co Louth, on Saturday night, was released without charge.
In his case, a file was being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions for a decision on whether to proceed.
The men were aged between 21 and 51 and were all from the Co Louth area.
