A woman has become the first fatality on Ireland’s roads this year following a crash on the Kildare-Meath border earlier today.

A woman has become the first fatality on Ireland’s roads this year following a crash on the Kildare-Meath border earlier today.

The woman died after the car she was travelling in was in collision with a lorry on the N4 between Galway and Dublin.

The accident happened at around 9.30am on the Galway side of Enfield in Co Meath.
