US authorities have frozen the assets of five Northern Ireland groups it lists as terrorist organisations.

US authorities have frozen the assets of five Northern Ireland groups it lists as terrorist organisations.

The groups named are the Continuity IRA, the Loyalist Volunteer Force, the Orange Volunteers, the Red Hand Defenders and the Ulster Defence Association.

Washington has, where possible, frozen all assets identified to the groups.
