Nurses organisation claims crisis in profession

The Irish Nurses Organisation has supported Fine Gael’s stance, saying there is currently a nursing crisis in Ireland.

A spokesman confirmed that most hospital beds are in use at the moment, but he said that’s because nurses are currently working huge amounts of overtime and hospitals are resorting to hiring staff from recruitment agencies.
