Opposition to fight Social Welfare Bill in Dail today

The opposition is to fight the Government's plans to take money from the Social Insurance Fund to finance next year's State spending in the Dail today.

The Social Welfare Bill is being debated months earlier than usual in order to allow increases in pensions and benefits to come on stream in the first week of January.
