Clonmel hospital staff lift threat of further strikes

Non-nursing staff at St Joseph’s hospital in Clonmel, Co Tipperary, have agreed to suspend their threat of further industrial action.

The move follows a commitment from the South Eastern Health Board to provide additional acute medical beds at a neighbouring hospital.
