A 72-year-old man has been killed in a road accident outside his Donegal home overnight.

A 72-year-old man has been killed in a road accident outside his Donegal home overnight.

The man had just alighted from his car and was crossing the road to his home at Clonmany when he was struck by a passing car at around 1am.
