Four men have been remanded in custody after they appeared in court last night, charged with conspiracy to rob the AIB bank in Abbeyleix on Friday.

Four men have been remanded in custody after they appeared in court last night, charged with conspiracy to rob the AIB bank in Abbeyleix on Friday.

They were 20-year-old Aidan Quinn of 3 St Aengus Rd, Tymon Nth, Tallaght, his 24-year-old brother Gareth of 4 Maplewood Way, Tallaght, 32-year-old Kevin Lynch of 64 Glenshane Crescent, Tallaght and 32-year-old John Bishop, with an address in Clondalkin.

All four were remanded in custody to Cloverhill Prison and will appear again before Abbeyleix District Court on Thursday next.
