Aer Rianta is expected to tell the Government today that its plans to build a new terminal at Dublin Airport for low-cost airlines could breach competition law.

The Government has proposed the plan as part of an initiative to boost tourism figures. However, Aer Rianta believes it is against the rules of fair competition to build an expansion solely for the benefit of low-cost airlines.
