Two charged over Naas heroin seizure

Two young Dubliners have appeared before Dublin District Court charged with possession of heroin with intent to supply.

23-year-old Dave McCreevy and 21-year-old Jason Lennon, both from Belgard Heights in Tallaght, were arrested on Tuesday during a raid on a house in Naas, Co Kildare, and a follow-up operation in Dublin.

One kilo of heroin was found during the operation, which was connected to an investigation into the large-scale smuggling of drugs from Britain to Ireland.
