Memorial in St Patrick's Cathedral on Remembrance Day
President Mary McAleese has attended a Remembrance Day service at St Patrick’s Cathedral in Dublin.
Ms McAleese was joined at the service by the ambassadors of many nations, including those of Britain, the United States and Australia.
The service was held in remembrance of the many soldiers who were killed fighting in the First and Second World Wars and during the service the people who were killed in the terrorist attacks on September 11 were also remembered.
