Large Dublin drugs seizure

Gardai from the National Drugs Unit in co-operation with two Dublin based drug units have seized a substantial amount of drugs in Dublin City in the Dun Laoighre/Blackrock area today.

Gardai from the National Drugs Unit in co-operation with two Dublin based drug units have seized a substantial amount of drugs in the Dun Laoighare/Blackrock area today.

Four kilograms of cocaine and one kilogram of heroin, with an estimated street value of one million pounds were recovered in the haul.

Two men have been arrested and are being questioned at Store Street garda station under the Drug Trafficking Act. They are believed to both be in their forties.
