US firefighters's families to visit Ireland

A campaign is being launched to bring the grieving families of New York firefighters and police officers who died on September 11 on holiday to Ireland.

The campaign hopes to raise $1.6m to offer breaks to the families. The Taoiseach is among the people supporting the US-Irish alliance which is seeking donations to raise the necessary funds.
