Loyalist blamed for majority of 'terrorist' attacks
The British Government’s Minister for Security in the North, Jane Kennedy, has released figures showing that loyalists were responsible for three-quarters of all sectarian attacks carried out this year.
The figures show that so far this year, there was a total of 840 "attempts at terrorist activity", as Ms Kennedy described them.
Six hundred and twenty of those were carried out by loyalist factions, while the remaining 220 were carried out by republicans.
