US company defers Cavan development
800 new jobs planned for the Cavan area by the investment of an American technology company have been deferred.
Last November US technology company Teradyne announced plans for a major facility in Cavan that would have created the 800 jobs.
But according to a spokesperson for the IDA, the plan has been put on hold.
Teradyne currently employs 250 people in Dublin.
The Dublin jobs are not believed to be under threat.
