Part-time soldier accused of drinker’s pub murder
A part-time soldier with the Royal Irish Regiment was charged today with the murder of a pub customer shot dead having a late night drink.
Lorry driver Glen Stronge, 27, whose address was given as his battalion’s barracks at The Deanery, Clogher, Co Tyrone, was remanded in custody when he appeared before a magistrate at Cookstown.
