The Irish Nurses Organisation (INO) has called for changes to address the continuing crisis in the health service.

The INO is calling for the creation of an extra 8000 nursing and midwifery posts. It also wants to increase the starting salary of newly qualified nurses and the introduction of an allowance for those living in Dublin.
