A woman convicted of running a Dublin brothel was today given a six-month suspended sentence for failing to make tax returns on her income.

Marie Bridgeman, 55, pleaded guilty on two counts after Dublin’s District Court was told by an official from the Criminal Assets Bureau that she owed almost £200,000 over the two years relating to the offences.
