The Taoiseach, Bertie Ahern, has said the British Government’s plans to demolish four military installations in the North must be just the beginning of sweeping changes to society in the six counties.

Speaking after a meeting with Sinn Fein president Gerry Adams in Dublin today, Mr Ahern said progress must now be made on all the outstanding issues in the Good Friday Agreement.
