Labour slams Taoiseach's failure on Aer Lingus

Labour Party leader Ruairi Quinn has criticised the Taoiseach for failing to raise the issue of state aid for airlines at the summit of EU leaders in Ghent at the weekend.

Mr Quinn said Bertie Ahern should have taken the opportunity to discuss the plight of Aer Lingus and other struggling European airlines.
