Taoiseach plays down risk of pull-out by US companies

The Taoiseach, Bertie Ahern, has admitted that some US companies may pull out of Ireland following the attacks in the United States on September 11.

Mr Ahern told the Dail this afternoon that "there has been some mention of some companies that perhaps would move" but he said the IDA is monitoring the situation on a daily basis.
