Phone records show that Colm Murphy’s phone was in Omagh on August 15, 1998, but he has proved to Gardai that he was not in the town on that day.

Mr Murphy, from Jordan’s Corner, Ravensdale, Dundalk, is charged with conspiring to cause the Omagh bomb and with membership of the Real IRA.
