Minister has plans to keep schools open if ASTI strikes

The Minister for Education has told the Dail that there are contingency plans in place to keep schools open if ASTI members withdraw from supervision.

The teachers' union is currently balloting members on whether to withdraw from this duty following their rejection of a new pay scheme.
