Trimble puts IRA on a par with Taliban

Ulster Unionist leader David Trimble has compared Sinn Fein and the IRA to Afghanistan’s hardline Taliban Government.

Mr Trimble said that if time is running out for the Taliban to hand over Osama bin Laden, then it should also be running out for the IRA to decommission its weapons.
