400 jobs for Waterford

Electrochemical firm Nypro is to create 400 jobs with the establishment of a new factory in Waterford.

The workers will be involved in the assembly of electrochemical components.

Earlier today, Waterford Crystal announced that it plans to cut working hours in its factory because of a downturn in the US economy and a fall in the number of American tourists in Ireland.
