340 job losses in Dublin as Fujitsu plant closes

The electronics-manufacturing giant, Fujitsu, has announced that it is to close its Dublin plant with the loss of up to 340 jobs.

The news comes just one month after the Japanese firm announced its plans to cut more than 16,000 jobs worldwide as part of a major restructuring of the company.
