Ryanair accuses airlines of taking advantage of US attacks
Budget airline Ryanair has accused its mainstream rivals of using last week’s attacks in the United States as an excuse to ask for state aid.
Ryanair chairman Michael O’Leary said his company has suffered very little because of the attacks, unlike Aer Lingus, which has cut back its operations by 25% and plans to lay off up to 1,700 workers.
