The Democratic Unionist Party has followed the UUP and agreed to nominate members to the police board governing the North’s new police service.

The Democratic Unionist Party has followed the UUP and agreed to nominate members to the police board governing the North’s new police service.

Making his decision early this morning, party leader Ian Paisley said he had no alternative but to join up because to not do so would have given nationalists control of the board.
