Monaghan Gardai raid illegal distillery

Gardai in Co Monaghan have raided an illegal distillery and seized thousands of gallons of alcohol at various stages of preparation.

3,500 gallons of alcohol was found in the distillery around two miles outside Scotstown, 1,500 gallons of which was ready for sale.
