Three police officers were recovering from shock today following an early morning bomb attack on a new housing development in Derry.

Three police officers were recovering from shock today following an early morning bomb attack on a new housing development in Derry.

The Royal Ulster Constabulary officers were investigating a burning car which had been abandoned near a number of houses under construction in the Cornshell Fields in the city at around 12.30am.
