Mother doubts reports of Colombia kidnap

The mother of a Co Laois man deported by Colombian police last month has said she has no reason to believe reports that he has now been kidnapped by right-wing paramilitaries.

Kevin Crennan was released by Colombian police after being wrongly arrested on suspicion of being a member of the IRA.

Reports this morning say the 33-year-old has gone missing again and may have been abducted by a Colombian death squad.
