Garda rape suspect in identity parade

The Garda arrested in the Canary Islands in connection with the rape and battery of an Irish tourist has taken part in an identity parade.

The man, who is stationed in north Dublin, has now spent six days in custody following the rape and assault of a 23-year-old Irishwoman in the Playa de las Americas resort in Tenerife.
