Limerick murder: teenager arrested

A 17-year-old youth has been arrested by Gardai in Limerick in connection with the murder of a teenager last month.

18-year-old Eric Leamy was stabbed to death in St Mary’s Park in the city on August 28 last.

The arrested teenager was picked up in Limerick this morning and is being detained under Section Four of the Criminal Justice Act.
