PUP member welcomes violence-free Ardoyne protest

Billy Hutchinson, Northern Ireland Assembly member with the Loyalist PUP, has welcomed today’s Ardoyne road ‘peaceful protest’ as a sign that residents are more in control of the situation.

He said, “It goes to show that people are taking the protest into their own hands and as it goes in the community, we will start to take more control and keep control.”
