Report shows Catholics are not joining police service

An internal report drawn up for the agency seeking recruits to the North’s new police force has revealed that insufficient numbers of Catholics have applied.

The legislation governing police reform in the six counties stipulates that the new force must be comprised of an equal number of Catholics and Protestants.
