A senior republican from the Ardoyne area of north Belfast was today denied bail at the Belfast High Court.

A senior republican from the Ardoyne area of north Belfast was today denied bail at the Belfast High Court.

31-year-old Eddie Copeland, from Holmdene Gardens, has been charged with unlawful imprisonment, assault, kidnapping and threatening to kill in connection with an incident at a betting shop on August 22nd.
