Mortgage rates to fall as ECB cuts interest

Mortgage rates are on the way down after the Europoean Central Bank cut interest rates by a quarter of one percent.

Interest rates in the Eurozone are now down to 4.25%.

The Irish Permanent, First Active and the TSB have all cut their interest rates in response to the announcement, which came just before the official unveiling of the new euro bank notes.
