Gardai reveal high tip-off rate

139 arrests were recorded due to anonymous tip-offs up to the month of August.

There were almost 2,000 "useful calls" from the public.

Crimestoppers Director, Ciaran Conlon, said the figures reflect the public's concern about drug-related crime.
