Walsh meets South African officials over EU beef ban

Agriculture Minister Joe Walsh has begun an official trip to South Africa to discuss the possibility of the country re-opening its markets to EU beef.

The initiative is part of ongoing efforts to regain access to foreign markets which were closed because of the outbreaks of BSE and foot-and-mouth disease in Europe.
