Smallest quintuplet baby much improved

The smallest of Ireland’s only quintuplets has stabilised in hospital.

Baby Amy Cassidy weighed just 1lb 5oz at birth.

The babies, with a total birth weight of 7lb 15oz, were born 14 weeks premature.

The largest quin, Conor James, is reported to be making good progress at the Rotunda hospital in Dublin.
