Gardai to monitor post-Leaving cert drinking

Gardai have confirmed that they will target premises that sell alcohol to underage students later this week after leaving certificate results are published.

Under 'Operation Oiche', the gardai will monitor the behaviour of young people and investigate any reports of publicans and night clubs flouting the law on sales of alcohol to minors.
