Labour condemns 'discriminatory' drugs scheme

Labour has described the new financial incentive scheme designed to reduce the cost of drugs to the State as 'discriminatory'.

Under the new scheme, GPs will receive £345 per annum for treating the new group of over 70s who have been awarded the medical card, many of whom could be on substantial incomes.
